Seth Rogen Goes ‘Green’

‘Knocked Up’ and ‘Funny People’ star Seth Rogen is getting serious for his next role, and ET has a first look at Comic-Con as he talks about his crimefighting alter ego, ‘The Green Hornet’ — and unveils the Black Beauty!
"We really just wanted to make an original movie and we built on it where we saw it necessary," says Seth.
Filming this fall for a summer 2010 release, Rogen will play millionaire publisher-turned-masked crime fighter Brit Reid, who battles baddies with his cool, machine-gun/flamethrower/missile-equipped car, the Black Beauty, along with his sidekick, Kato. The film will be directed by Michel Gondry (’Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind’) with a script written by Rogen and Evan Goldberg (’Superbad,’ ‘Pineapple Express’), based upon the classic radio series created by George W. Trendle.
