Update: Will Jon & Kate Gosselin Appear Together in New Episodes?

As the countdown continues toward Monday’s highly anticipated new episode of TLC’s "Jon & Kate Plus 8," ET has learned new information about what the dynamic will be like between Jon Gosselin and his estranged wife, Kate.

ET has learned that although viewers will see Jon and Kate together, they will be separated — sitting on two adjacent chairs, rather than sharing a couch.

In the episode, Kate will try to pitch a tent for the first time with the help of one of her daughters.
